The eventual removal of the Central Freeway in San Francisco will leave behind a partial, 15-year-old elevated structure and lack of street-level connectivity. This plan proposes the conversion to an elevated freeway park and redesigned surface streets. 13th Street is a major corridor with a heavy industrial presence, connecting drivers, riders, and pedestrians to the greater San Francisco area.
